Funding that converted an industrial build into self storage
Storage Capital was approached to develop an existing building into storage. With the building half filled with tenants and fully levered, Storage Capital invested more than $4.0M for the build out. Storage Capital received a preferred return and the right to buy 50% of the project. One year into the project, Storage Capital bought 50% of the equity and agreed to fund additional preferred equity to help grow the company with the development of more facilities.
